The Bear Komplex jump rope is a lightweight yet very high-quality jump rope made by the same people that brought you the Bear Komplex gloves which is also a very well designed product. It’s great for CrossFit WODs because it works better than other ones. It works so well it may feel like cheating. Using this will help you knock out more “double-unders” than the regular jump rope available.
Why We Think It’s Cool
- Its unique design allows you to slip in the rope and adjust size without tying/retying anything.
- It’s a perfect weight. It’s not too light and it feels like you’re holding something substantial without it being too heavy.
- It comes with 2 ropes. if you use it very often, it is inevitable you will need the other one eventually.
Potential Drawbacks
- Some don’t like the design because the rope has potential of slipping out if you swing it too hard. This may be a design flaw they can fix in the future. I still prefer this to the other options out there.
